Mimosa hostilis root bark
Mimosa tenuiflora (syn. Mimosa hostilis) is a tree native to Mexico and other Latin-American countries. It has been given a variety of names by the local population across the continent. In Mexico it is known as Tepezcohuite, while in Brazil it is called jurema preta, calumbi or just jurema.
The Mimosa Company offers 100% pure Mimosa hostilis root bark (MHRB). This means that the product is not mixed with plant material obtained from other parts of the tree and no chemical additives are added neither. The bark is exclusively harvested from the inner root in a sustainable way which doesn´t endanger the tree. We offer Mimosa tenuiflora root bark in four different formats: pulverised MHRB (fine power), finely shredded MHRB, coarse shredded MHRB and whole MHRB (large chunks).
